Come join a winning team! The General Manager will be responsible for on-site client and facilities operations for both valet and shuttle services. The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a DOT operation related to passenger endorsements. Previous parking and/or transportation industry experience preferred.

Our General Managers must have strong leadership skills, be innovative, comfortable working with technology, courteous, reliable, efficient, and professional.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform daily management and administrative functions for multiple lines of business, including reading, analyzing and interpreting complex data.
  • Strong working knowledge of budget management, accounting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship, presentation, communication (both written and oral), managerial, and customer service skills.
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, stressful environment and possess the flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet operational needs. This may require occasionally working outside of regularly scheduled hours.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web-based applications.
  • Ability to successfully complete Elite's pre-employment assessments.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in parking operations and parking facility maintenance preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of DOT experience related to passenger endorsements and knowledge of DOT regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' management experience preferred.
  • Some business development experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, manage, schedule, train, and direct the activities of on-site employees.
  • Participate in formulating and administering operational policies, directing and coordinating all operational activities to develop and implement long range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives.
  • Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine operational progress toward stated goals and objectives.
  • Oversee key projects, processes and performance reports, data, and analysis.
  • Monitor and oversee the operation finances to ensure profitability.
  • Maximize operation revenues through innovative revenue increasing processes.
  • Manage the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of staff in accordance with company policies.
  • Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, development and performance management.
  • Manage the company's contractual obligation to the client.
  • Create and build client relationships while sponsoring interaction to obtain additional projects.
  • Establish and maintain ongoing client relationships with various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems.
  • Uphold company standards to ensure physical appearance and operational appearance are being maintained.
  • Pass corporate operational and financial audits.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
