Galaxy Consulting, LLC is seeking to fill multiple Program Analyst positions in support of the Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) conference center operations. The selected candidate(s) will be required to complete a variety of administrative functions associated with conference and meeting planning, meeting logistics support, regulatory reporting, event tracking, and general administrative support services. Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Providing on-site conference logistical support such as registration set up, participant registration, coordinating the arrival of training materials,
Verifying conference room set up, collection of evaluations, and providing post conference and meeting closeout support,
Creating electronic project folders, reviewing and validating conference and meeting related information,
Checking customer’s mailbox and routing e-mails to appropriate team members for action,
Utilizing customer provided office equipment and automated systems to search and retrieve conference attendee information,
Utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel applications to prepare weekly and monthly status reports which contain information relating to conference attendees, supported events, mission accomplishments, issues, and project accomplishments,
Utilizing Microsoft Excel to audit and create reports on costs associated with supported conference operations,
Utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create brochures, evaluation templates, sign in sheets and other administrative support products, and
Providing other administrative support duties as defined.

Required Skills / Knowledge / Abilities:
- High degree of proficiency in utilizinggeneral office equipment and automation software, (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, & e-mail),
- Experience in developing documents, brochures, spreadsheets, andPowerPoint presentationswhich include charts, graphs and financial data,
- Skill in preparing written forms, schedules, and reports related to the obligation and expenditures of funds,
- Skill in gathering, assembling, and analyzing source of factual information, such as that found in accounting reports, payroll records, work reports, or inventory and supply data,
- Ability to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to assist with the set-up and arrangement of tables and chairs in support of conferences,
Other Position Requirements
- Applicant must be a US citizen,
- Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree or three or more years of related program analyst experience, and
- Applicant must successfully undergo a background investigation for a Government position of trust.
Salary Range: $16 - $19 per hour
Hours of work per week: 40
