We are searching for a Lead Cloud Cybersecurity Engineer (Remote). Make an impact supporting cybersecurity services for cloud migration of the enterprise and identify gaps in cybersecurity modernization, practice, vision, and delivery. Leading the implementation, integration, and deployment of cybersecurity technologies in a DoD environment. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the program manager in cybersecurity efforts and aid in effective decision making.
  • Lead cybersecurity efforts across multiple cloud environments and ensuring secure configuration. 
  • Implement traditional security protection equivalent on cloud-based platforms and applications including container architectures in a DoD environment.
  • Leverage experience with multi-cloud migrations and container architectures (Kubernetes) to apply cybersecurity solutions, establish best practices and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Assist cybersecurity operations, solution engineers, developers, and other team members to adopt cloud and container technologies.
  • Review architectures to ensure security compliance.
  • Research, suggest, and help implement industry best practices and tool sets.
  • Coordinate and assist with cybersecurity reviews, including generation of security artifacts, implementation statements, standard operating procedures, POA&M, and CONOPS.

Requirements:

  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or Higher
  • Active DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification (CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, or CCSP).
  • 5+ years working with Information Technology with a focus on Information Security.
  • Direct experience working with any of the following:
    • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    • or a similar cloud service provider in a SecOps capacity
  • Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Familiarity in the deployment, configuration, hardening, and operations and maintenance of Kubernetes containerization platforms (such as Docker, Rancher, OpenShift, etc.).
  • Must be able to support a Pacific Time schedule.
