POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Consultant (FTE or Contractor) with proven hands-on experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) and App Connect Enterprise (ACE). This role requires significant hands-on development work implementing complex interfaces for our clients across different industries (Insurance, Finance, Government, Retail, etc).
REQUIREMENTS
- Miniumum of 2 years hands-on development experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and/or IBM Integration Bus (IIB)
- Experience working with multiple mapping techniques in ACE/IIB (Java, .NET, ESQL, Mapping Node)
- Experience with implementing Web Services, MQ, and File based interfaces
- Experience testing interfaces using tools like RFHUTIL, Postman, SOAPUI, and other testing tools
- Experience working with multiple data formats (JSON, XML, EDI/X12, Fixed Length/COBOL, IDOC)
- Experience integrating with databases using ESQL, Java, Mapping Node, Database Nodes, and calling Stored Procedures
- Good development skills with Java or other programming language
- 1-2 years’ experience with IIB/ACE and MQ Administration
- Experience working on multiple operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux, Mainframe)
- Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with peers, management, clients, and partners
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- ACE Administration, Performance Tuning, and Security experience
- MQ Administration, Performance Tuning, and Security experience
- Experience with ACE and MQ Monitoring Capabilities and 3rd Party Monitoring Software
- IBM DataPower experience (development and administration)
- Technical Lead experience with teams of 2+ resources
- IIB Installation and Configuration on multiple platforms (i.e. Windows, Unix/Linux, Mainframe, etc)
- Experience migrating and upgrading between multiple versions (i.e. WMB v7/8, IIB v9/10, ACE v11,12)
