Account Executive
TransformaTech is looking for a self-motivated, highly driven Account Executive to identify new business as well as expand our presence with existing clients. Your primary focus will be on providing clients with large, complex, highly technical solutions. We help clients improve their business using leading technology, methodologies, and IT best practices to implement industry leading System Integration and SOA solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Expand relationships with regional IBM technology and services partners
- Identify client’s pain points and propose solutions
- Collaborate with technical team to design solutions that fulfill client needs
- Follow up on marketing-generated leads and inbound requests
- Arrange and conduct demonstrations and presentations in conjunction with technical presales
- Perform account management activities to find additional services or product opportunities
- Stay informed regarding the cutting-edge trends of all relevant IBM integration technologies
- Manage the end-to-end sales process
- Work with partners to support their sales efforts
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years prior sales background with software-based solutions into targeted accounts
- Recent experience selling business infrastructure/middleware-type software or services (SOA, BPM, EAI, is preferred)
- Proven success in meeting and exceeding quotas
- Collaborative experience partnering with systems integrators
- Solid experience executing call plans, managing account-planning sessions, and effectively implementing account strategies
- Ability to work with prospects to develop business solution plans coupled with solid closing skills
- Results-oriented approach which balance a "take charge" attitude with teamwork and collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities concurrently
- Cultivating relationships with clients and partners over the phone
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
- Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills and ability to communicate and interface at all levels of an organization
- Background and security check
- Knowledge of how to use a CRM, and business research tools a plus
- BA/BS Degree a plus but not required
