We’re looking for a dynamic, youth-focused leader to join our team and create life-changing experiences for 6th–12th grade students. As the Youth Development Program Coordinator (Teens), you’ll lead innovative, engaging programs that combine education, arts, tech, wellness, and youth development. You'll create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space for teens to explore who they are and who they want to become.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and deliver creative, hands-on programming that sparks learning and personal growth.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with teens, promoting social-emotional development.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all youth.
  • Partner with community organizations to expand opportunities.
  • Be a role model and mentor, every single day.

  • Can juggle lesson planning, program facilitation, and admin tasks with ease.
  • Value diversity, equity, and inclusion and can connect with youth from all walks of life.
  • Are organized, flexible, and are a strong communicator.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to motivate youth and handle behavior problems.
  • Ability to deal with the general public.
  • Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.
  • Ability to work with youth and families from a variety of backgrounds.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work clubhouse hours especially as seasons and service needs change.

Bonus Points:

  • Degree in human services or a related field
  • Knowledge of youth development
  • Experience and/or interest in working with teens
  • Administrative/Organizational Skills
  • Experience developing and implementing programs, preferably in non-profit setting and /or programs for children/teens
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Group leadership skills, including an understanding of group dynamics

Schedule: Full-Time (32-35 hours per week), School Year: Mondays – Thursdays 1:30p-8:00pm and Fridays 1:30-6:00pm. Summer and Non-School Days: 7:00am-3:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm

Pay: $16.00/hour and up, based on experience for the position. Earn additional pay within the first year upon completion of our Youth Development Professional training series.
