About Qubic

Qubic is pioneering AI technology by integrating its Layer 1 Useful Proof of Work (uPoW) network with an open-source AI framework. This robust platform supports feeless transactions and features high-speed smart contracts, capable of processing up to 55 million transfers per second, underpinned by a quorum-based consensus mechanism. Founded by Sergey Ivancheglo, also known as Come-from-Beyond and a co-founder of IOTA and NXT, Qubic leverages extensive CPU and GPU resources through AI miners. Qubic Core Services Committee

Governance at Qubic is structured around our Qubic Core Services (QCS), a body elected by the “Quorum” who form the backbone of our network's security. Qubic Core Services is tasked with the responsibility of streamlining activities that enhance Qubic's growth and uphold our mission to pioneer in the blockchain and AI domains. As a new member of our team, you will have the opportunity to join this committee, contributing directly to the strategic direction of Qubic and the fulfillment of our visionary goals.


About the role

Qubic is looking for a dynamic Community Lead to join the Qubic Core Services Committee and spearhead all community-related strategies. In this critical leadership role, you will manage and mentor the team of moderators (mods) and community managers, ensuring a unified, impactful approach to community engagement, conflict resolution, and member support. You will play an integral part in shaping Qubic’s community culture, driving growth, and representing community perspectives at the highest level of decision-making.

 

Key Responsibilities:

QSC Committee Collaboration
    • Actively participate in QCS Committee meetings, providing strategic updates and insights on community health, challenges, and opportunities.
    • Participate in CCF budget request draft and community Q&A
    • Align community initiatives with Qubic’s overarching objectives, ensuring a cohesive vision and direction.

 

Team Management & Leadership
    • Hire, supervise, coach, and support the mods and community supporters .
    • Engage with discord admins in order to implement improvements and changes in the server setup.
    • Custody of the community management budget and payments of salaries.
    • Promote an inclusive and collaborative team culture, fostering clear communication and shared goals.

 

Community Strategy & Development
    • Design and execute comprehensive community engagement strategies that attract new members, retain existing ones, and enhance user satisfaction.
    • Develop policies and best practices for community moderation, member onboarding, and conflict resolution, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment.
    • Partner with marketing, product, and other cross-functional teams to align community initiatives with broader organizational priorities.

 

Advocacy & Representation
    • Serve as the voice of the community in internal discussions, representing community needs, feedback, and trends to the QCS Committee and other leadership teams.
    • Advocate for user-centric improvements and enhancements in features, events, and communications.

 

Community Programs & Events
    • Oversee the planning and execution of community-driven events, such as webinars, AMA sessions, local meetups, and virtual conferences.
    • Collaborate with external stakeholders or partners to deliver meaningful programming that nurtures community growth.

 

Monitoring & Reporting
    • Utilize analytics tools and user feedback channels to track community sentiment, engagement metrics, and overall growth.
    • Provide regular reports and presentations to the QCS Committee, highlighting key insights, successes, and areas for improvement.

 

Crisis Management
    • Proactively identify potential community conflicts or crises and formulate mitigation strategies.
    • Guide mods and community managers through difficult conversations or situations with empathy, transparency, and professionalism.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in community management, social media management, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • You have been part of the Qubic community and know the in and outs of Qubic.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and measure community engagement strategies.
  • Experience presenting recommendations and insights to senior leadership or executive teams.
  • Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade diverse audiences.
  • Experience moderating online discussions and handling conflict resolution.
  • Comfortable using community platforms, social media tools, and analytics dashboards (e.g., Discord, Telegram).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data in decision-making.
  • Enthusiasm for Qubic’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude, who thrives in a dynamic, innovative environment.
