Due to continued growth and success, we are seeking experienced Mechanical Trade Assistants to join our skilled and reputable team of industry professionals. 

These are full time permanent positions based in Henderson with parking on site. 6am starts. Paid overtime during busy periods is available. This includes week and weekend work.

You will be gaining specialised industry experience working on and building mobile crushing, screening and conveying plant for the mining industry.

Skills and Experience

  • Mechanically minded / previous workshop experience. (Experience as a trade assistant working on large plant is highly desirable.)
  • Team player with a strong commitment to quality, safety and achieving high levels of productivity
  • Demonstrated safe use of hand and power tools
  • Understanding of work processes and ability to read and follow procedures and work instructions
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency against competing deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering excellent customer service in a quality environment
  • Sound time management skills with a high attention to detail and focus, especially whilst undertaking repetitive tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within an organization
  • Basic to intermediate computer and information technology skills
  • Ability to build and maintain internal working relationships which contribute to a harmonious, efficient and productive working culture
  • Forklift License (highly desirable)
