Due to continued growth and success, we are seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Welder to join our skilled and reputable team of industry professionals. 

This is a full-time permanent position based in Henderson with 6am starts. Paid overtime during busy periods is available. This includes week and weekend work.
Working within a small team, you must also be happy to undertake other duties as required, having regard to your skills, training and experience.

You will be gaining specialised industry experience working on and building mobile crushing, screening and conveying plant for the mining industry.

Parking at the front door is a great perk and competitive remuneration is also on offer.

Skills and Experience

  • 3 years plus experience as a Boilermaker/Welder/Structural Steel Fabricator working within a medium enterprise manufacturing environment with heavy/large mining plant experience (highly desirable)
  • Understanding of work processes and ability to read, follow and interpret drawings, procedures and work instructions
  • Team player with a strong commitment to quality, safety and achieving high levels of productivity 
  • Ability to learn and develop technical and product knowledge    
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency against competing deadlines
  • Sound time management skills with a high attention to detail and focus, especially whilst undertaking repetitive tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within an organisation and build and maintain internal working relationships which contribute to a harmonious, efficient and productive working culture 
  • Basic to intermediate computer and information technology skills   
  • Forklift license (desirable but not essential)

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or other relevant Australian recognised trade certificate

Applicants must be based in Perth and have permanent and unrestricted working rights within Australia and because of the location, a current and valid driver’s license and reliable transport is essential. 

A national police clearance is required (within last 6 month) for the successful candidate at their own cost.
