What will you be doing?

Life in our sales teams isn’t what you think it might be. At AB World Foods, we focus on building powerful partnerships with our customers - major supermarkets, wholesalers, and online platforms. We work closely with them to understand their needs using data and insights to ensure the right products are available to consumers—whether in-store or online. With the demand for World Foods products skyrocketing, we exist in a rapidly growing category. This year, our customers ranked us their number one supplier. As a graduate on this scheme, you’ll join a business that is truly valued by its customers, has incredible brands, and highly in demand products.

It’s not cold calling, telesales, or one-off conversations with disinterested people – it’s about building lasting partnerships that create mutual growth.

Over two years, you’ll rotate through key commercial teams at the heart of our business: Category, Sales (Account Management), and Shopper Marketing. Each rotation will give you a unique perspective on how we connect with our customers and ensure our products are a success.

  • In Category, you’ll work closely with our retail partners helping them decide how to arrange and merchandise their stores. Using data to understand shopping habits and trends, you’ll recommend the right mix of products to meet shopper and consumer needs. You’ll also work with our internal team to determine how our products are positioned in-store, making sure they’re in the best spot to catch shoppers’ attention and boost the sales of our brands.
  • Sales (Account Management) is all about building and maintaining relationships with our customers. You’ll be the go-to person for your account, working on everything from pricing strategies to negotiating promotions. You’ll be the driving force behind getting our products into stores, ensuring we meet both our goals and our customer’s needs.
  • In Shopper Marketing, you’ll focus on making our products stand out, taking into consideration shopper behaviour and motivations. Working with our sales and marketing teams, you’ll create compelling in-store and online marketing campaigns that bring our products to life, increase engagement, and influence buying decisions.
