KEY ROLES;
- Manage the Accounts receivable unit.
- Coordinating accounting functions and programs.
- Preparing financial analyses and reports.
- Preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditure.
- Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets.
- Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
- Assisting with annual audit preparations.
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Preparing federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
- Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Perform other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENT;
- Sc. Accountancy or any related field.
- ICAN, ACA/ACCA is an added advantage.
- Must understand accounting principles.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Candidate must have at least 4 to 5 years’ experience in similar role.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,).
- Must be able to make good use of advanced accounting tools.
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Experience with Telecom companies would be an added advantage.
