Locum GP Required

Working as a Locum GP, you will be required to manage your caseload and deal with a wide range of healthcare needs, ensuring the highest standards of care for all patients.

The post holder will make him/her-self available to undertake a variety of duties including face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations and queries, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence within an agreed timeframe.

The post holder will be required to make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems.
The post holder is required to record clear and contemporaneous consultation notes for each consultation, compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions (avoiding hand-written prescriptions whenever possible), plus prescribing in accordance with the practice prescribing formulary (or generically) whenever this is clinically appropriate.

To apply you must meet the following criteria;
1. Registered with the GMC, have a license to practice and inclusion on the GP register.
2. Inclusion on the National Primary Performers List for England
3. Hold a recent Enhanced DBS check, or use the update service.
4. Eligibility to work in the UK (RtW)
5. Minimum level of Professional Indemnity (for non-NHS work)
