The Position Details

The 3D Artist will be required to work with the creative team to generate multiple 3D models and animations. This individual will coordinate between other 3D artists, 2D designers, project managers, and the creative director. Knowledge particle effects are a plus.

Job Responsibilities

• Generate multiple 3D and 2D models and Animations
• Integrate 3D elements into plate photography
• Creating photo-real scenes and landscapes, ensuring technical accuracy, and executing VFX tasks such as texturing, modeling, lighting, animation, and look development. 
• must have a sense of composition and color, knowledge of relevant software, creativity, detail orientation, technical skills, and computer competencies.
• Coordinate and collaborate between other 3D artist and 2D designers
• Present design concepts to others
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating knowledge of architectural visualization, graphic presentation, layout, and composition.
• Familiarity with Maya scripting including Mel scripts, Python, PyMel and/or the Maya API

Position Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree from accredited college/university in 3D or related field
• Must be experienced in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and After Effects
• Must be experienced in Maya and Vray
• Familiarity with Maya scripting including Mel scripts, Python, PyMel and/or the Maya API
• Must be experienced in RealFlow or Houdini
• Knowledge in animation, lighting, and texturing.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating knowledge of architectural visualization, graphic presentation, layout and composition
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
